There are many different ways in which an owner may choose to enter into a contract with a builder. One of SIGAL's preferred methods of performing construction services is through construction management. SIGAL also regularly delivers its services under construction management "at risk" contracts.
In a construction management agreement, the contract is negotiated. SIGAL (and if the owner desires, the architect) mutually agree upon subcontractor selection. SIGAL will furnish a list of pre-qualified subcontractors for the owner and architect to strike from or add to. Then SIGAL, acting as the owner's agent, supervises the work and administration of the subcontractors.
